Proclamation No. 247, s. 2022 declared the month of September of every year as "Development Policy Research Month (DPRM)" to promote and draw nationwide awareness of the importance of policy research in the formulation of national development plans, policies, and programs. With the theme "Securing a Future for All by Growing a Resilient Middle Class," this year's celebration aims to (i) highlight opportunities and challenges in expanding the Filipino middle class in the face of emerging global megatrends and (ii) explore multi-pronged strategies needed to provide opportunities for expansion and new wealth creation.
